Yes, class is less than 5 minute walk from Friendship Heights Metro which is on the red line - take the Western Ave exit - then Western and Wisconsin Exit -- The metro is often slow on the weekends though just a heads up!

Students may not take photos or videos during class, but the instructor might take optional videos and pictures at the end of class which she will share with the students.  They must tag @DistrictGroove in the description and location if they post it on their social media.

Note: Instructors and the District Groove manager are only there during class times as the space is rented per class. We suggest to wear comfortable sneakers, Bare feet or ballet shoes are fine too. DO NOT wear sandals, flip flops, boots, high heels, or shoes that can leave scuff marks. Sneakers with less or no tread are easiest to dance in as they don't stick to the floor as much.

We suggest to wear a form fitting top (so we can see and correct your moves more easily), and form fitting bottoms like leggings or shorts that you can work out and stretch in without them ripping. Jeans and skirts are not recommended.

There's a big locker room so you can change there if you need to. You can also put your belongings in the dance studio but not in the lockers as the lockers sometimes are difficult to open.

Classes are not refundable or transferable. They can not be transferred to another class or private lesson. The only exception is IF and only IF you do not like the first class, in which case you must TEXT MESSAGE (301) 641-6055 AND EMAIL  DistrictGroove@gmail.com with your full name and email address that you paid with within 24 hours of your first class in order to get a refund.

The only discount is for signing up early.
