  1. Introduction.

These Terms And Conditions contained herein on this page (collectively referred to herein below as the “terms”), shall govern your use of this website and dance classes, including all pages within this website (collectively referred to herein below as this “Website”) as well as the dance choreography you learn in the dance classes (collectively referred to herein below as this “Website”) . These Terms apply in full force and effect to your use of this Website and dance classes, you expressly accept all terms and conditions contained herein in full. You must not use this Website or enroll in a dance class, if you have any objection to any of these Website Standard Terms And Conditions.

This Website is not for use by any minors (defined as those who are not at least 18 years of age), and you must not use this Website if you a minor.

  1. Intellectual Property Rights.

Under these Terms, District Groove and/or its licensors own all rights to the intellectual property and material contained in this Website as well as all dance choreography learned in classes, and all such rights are reserved.  Choreography you learn can only be performed or re-taught with permission of the instructor.

You are granted a limited license only, subject to the restrictions provided in these Terms, for purposes of viewing the material contained on this Website,

  1. Restrictions.

You are expressly and emphatically restricted from all of the following:

  1. publishing any Website material in any media without permission

  2. selling, sublicensing and/or otherwise commercializing any Website material;

  3. publicly performing and/or teaching any Dance Class Choreography material without permission of your instructor (via email)

  4. using this Website in any way that is, or may be, damaging to this Website;

  5. using this Website in any way that impacts user access to this Website;

  6. using this Website contrary to applicable laws and regulations, or in a way that causes, or may cause, harm to the Website, or to any person or business entity;

  7. engaging in any data mining, data harvesting, data extracting or any other similar activity in relation to this Website, or while using this Website;

  1. Limitation of liability.

In no event shall  District Groove, nor any of its officers, directors and employees, be liable to you for you injuring yourself in a dance class.  You take the dance class at your own risk.  If you break or damage any part of the studio or gym you will be liable to pay for fixing the damage.

  1. Indemnification.

You hereby indemnify to the fullest extent District Groove from and against any and all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms.

  1. Severability.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these Terms unenforceable or invalid as a whole, and such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.

  1. Modification of Terms.

District Groove is permitted to revise these Terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this Website you are expected to review such Terms on a regular basis to ensure you understand all terms and conditions governing use of this Website.

  1. Assignment.

District Groove shall be permitted to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms without any notification or consent required. However, .you shall not be permitted to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these Terms.

  1. Entire Agreement.

These Terms, including any legal notices and disclaimers contained on this Website, constitute the entire agreement between District Groove and you in relation to your use of this Website and Dance Classes, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings with respect to the same.

  1. Governing Law & Jurisdiction.

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Maryland for the resolution of any disputes.


1.) No guests or small children allowed to watch inside the classroom but they may wait outside on the couch (within the gym) ONLY IF they are attended by an adult. No exceptions. 2.) Any students that are disrespectful, inebriated, or disruptive during class will be asked to leave class without a refund.

There is a no-refund policy. UNLESS you do not like the first class, in which case you must TEXT MESSAGE the reason why you did not like the dance class to (301) 641-6055 AND EMAIL DistrictGroove@gmail.com with your full name and email address that you paid with within 24 hours of your first class in order to get a pro-rated refund minus the cost of the first class.

If you need to miss a class, then you can transfer it to another class ONLY if it is within the same month. Class transfers are not guaranteed as it depends on if there are other classes that month and if they fill or not. To transfer a class you must email DistrictGroove@gmail.com for permission.

Co-ed, ages 18 and over. Special exceptions can be made if you are age 16 or over by contacting DistrictGroove@gmail.com — The average student is between 20 and 40 but if you are older, no worries! District Groove does not discriminate based on gender, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.

You will get an email from aminadiamond@gmail.com or districtgroove@gmail.com with the address (which is also on the website under the top “location” tab), directions to the room within the building, metro directions and parking information of the location.

NOTE: Sessions can be Delayed or Cancelled
The start date of a class can be delayed or canceled if it does not fill up with enough students in time. This rarely happens, but if this does happen then students will have a choice to wait until the class fills or get a full refund. Please spread the word so that doesn’t happen!

District Groove is covered under liability insurance.

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site.  We collect and need your phone and email contact information in order to give you class information and directions to the Studio within the building (as it is hard to find the dance studio within the building) and to let you know of any emergency weather class cancellations.  We will not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.  It stays with us only.

Being in any class photos and videos is optional, and these are taken at the end of class for those who want to be in them.  If you choose to be in end of class photos and videos, then District Groove has ownership and rights to the videos and photos for use in whatever we we need to in order to help promote our classes.  Including our press, website, print, and social media.
