WHO: All shapes and sizes are welcome!  Beginners any age 18 and over. The average age is usually 25 to 40 but all ages 18 and over are welcome! Just be ready to focus and learn! Men are welcome as long as they don’t mind that the moves are GIRLY. Get ready for a workout and some girl bonding time!

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Do you feel like you need a fun goal to look forward to? Then this class is for you!
* WHAT: We will be learning a dance that is a fusion of Hip Hop, Bellydance and Bollywood with a possible sprinkle of some Latin move
* LEVEL: No pre-requisites or experience necessary but taking Hip hop and/or Bollywood and/or Bellydance with Amina at the same time or before this class is not required but recommended.  For more advanced students, I will have advanced versions of some of the steps we do.
* OPTIONAL PERFORMANCE: The last class we will have an optional performance that will be only for the camera and will go on youtube at an unlisted link so you can send it to your friends.  We might make one private video and one public video and whoever wants to be in it will be in it.  There may be future live performance opportunities – some of which may require an audition and some which may not
* MAKE UPS: If you miss class on the night of a choreography you may have to sit that part out for the performance.  If you need to make up you can only make up via discounted private lessons with Amina (your instructor) or you can use your missed classes as a credit toward another DG class.  This class is non-refundable unless you did not like the first class and contact Amina within 24 hours of the 1st class.

POSSIBLE CLASS BREAKDOWN – Subject to change:
* Class 1 to 3: Bollywood Choreography to bollywood music with some hip hop/bellydance fusion  – If you miss you may be asked to sit out this part of the performance
* Class 3 to 6: Polishing Bollywood and learning a new Bellydance and hip hop fusion choreography to a different song which will be a hip hop/bellydance fusion song. Class 6 we will review and videotape both choreographies in costume.
NOTE: If you miss you may be asked to sit out this part of the performance.  Schedule is subject to change depending on how fast the class learns.

VIDEO SAMPLE:
Description: This below video was 1 of 2 choreographies taught in the Fusion Dance Divas Beginners Dance Class in March. The group that started in the front row got challenging moves and the group that started in the back got easier moves.  Formations and challenge row moves get taught only once the dance is first  by everyone using the “easy” version of the moves.  This keeps class stress free and fun and gives a challenge to those who want it and makes it more simple for those who just want basics.
Choreography By: Shebani (inspired by the music video) and Amina. Video below shows most of the class but not all of them.  We couldn’t fit everyone in one frame.
